This one didn’t go wrong
This was probably my favorite from the day it’s up on county road 600

This was early in tonight’s Sunset it is much more colorful in full size.

This one was later in the sunset much more dramatic, but below that is why panoramas can be so difficult to get right. Two frames did not expose the same as the others and they had to be cut off to make the final photo. It’s still a nice panorama but certainly nothing like it could have been.

Panorama gone wrong again! This really long one is from Stevens Lake Road, not all the frames are consistently lit so it’s one that will never be enlarged for print but it’s still a pretty majestic display of colors

Here are a couple from gun barrel road from yesterday

One last panorama gone wrong, it looked ok at first until I zoomed in further and noticed the leaves and branch don’t match up

Dang I keep forgetting to link these panorama to the full size ones when I put them in! The full size versions are here http://www.spiritnexus.com/plogger/?level=collection&id=15

You may try the latest beta of the Hugin Stitcher with automatic exposure corrections, or fiddling around in your raw converter to match the images for exporting to tiff…
Thanks! I have not been shooting in Raw, my camera can do it, but it’s not a dslr and the reviews are that it just does better at jpgs then the conversions from raw in olympus master 2 sofware, but I’ll give it a shot anyway
I think they are great tries. You’re working from some magnificent originals.
Hi there ,
just a few thoughts on your panoramas.
On almost all of your panoramas one can see the seams when zoomed out due to light incosistencies.
Partially there is the software to blame for this.
Try to shoot the frames as fast as possible so the light conditions do not change.
I would recommend to you the panorama factory or ptgui.
Both have exposure correction options that will make your panos look very smooth.
Ptgui is an exceptional sticher.
It can take care of parallax errors and has all sort of options.(im sure that the last picture with the tree branch will match perfectly on ptgui)
Shoot in raw!!!
btw great originals you could make some killer panos with those photos
keep shooting
