Humorous Animal Behaviors

The other day when I went to town I came home and the family said you “you missed it”  The turkey got up on the squirrel feeder to help herself.  Well she came back and did it again and this time I was there with my camera.  For some reason this has been the week for turkeys to fly I have never seen them fly so often or such long flights.

First she gets up there

Then she reaches around for a little snack

Then some deer came by, one doe and three bucks.  One buck was the same one I photographed last fall who had broken one of his antlers.

Then a buck discovered the bird feeder

First he looks around  

Then he looks at me to see if I am going to be a problem

Then he focuses on the feeder 

And attempts a little taste

Then he takes a little ‘drink’ out of the bird bath

We had a pair of woodpeckers here too, they didn’t do anything funny, but I still enjoyed watching them.

And the Jays are still hanging out.  The Stellar’s Jay has a completely dark head in the books we have.  But almost all of these have these little white markings.
