we have had a red tint on the snow and was told the jet stream carried it from texas – amazing shots of the sun – how often does the dust fill the sky?
Not very often, it is and normally when it does happen is is late in the summer or fall before the snow hits when it is really dry. There has to be a certain amount of wind with the dryness to get it up in the sky like this. This year though when the snow stopped we didn’t get moisture for a long time so even though there was snow on the ground the roads were dry and dusty.
