My mom, my brother and I decided to get out of town for a couple days we went over a total of 7 mountain passes in the process LOL There were afternoon thunderstorms but still some amazing scenery.
Going out the road I found another one of those odd flowers that bloom in the morning and then are dead by noon.
When we headed past the lake oin the way out of Pagosa I noticed the swans out swimming with one little baby. There was a local woman there who has been keeping tabs on them for several years. She said one year they had 4 and one year 3 and was surprised to see only one this year.
We also noticed a balloon up in the sky and it was up above th lake when i stopped to see the swans. Pagosa has a balloon festival but this was just a single balloon that I think the local resort sends up with tourists. 
Then it came down kind of fast almost landing in the golf course unexpectedly and had to go up quick. Apparently this was not a planned landing spot!
