I started taking pictures when i was about 12 with an old polaroid. Got my first 35mm at the age of 15 and loved taking photos around Washington state. In high school I took my photography into working on the school paper and editing the yearbook. After graduation I continued to take photos for several years until I was too broke for film and my old Olympus OM10 started to not work properly. That led to a hiatus in my photography for several years. A couple years back I made the leap into digital with a 6mp Kodak z760. Earlier this year I got an Olympus 550UZ for more zoom capacity. I love Digital!! I can shoot to my heart’s content and simply delete experiments that didn’t work. I would love to get a digital DSLR when I can afford one, but for now I am photographing the local neighborhood here in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and reigniting my passion for photography.
